美國海關根據2025年4月11日發佈的總統備忘錄公告最新一波關稅豁免清單，涵蓋智慧手機、個人電腦、伺服器等科技產品，對在中國大陸而言堪稱超大利多，蘋果（Apple）也可以因此鬆一口氣。當日美股上漲，然而高興還沒兩天，美國總統川普又強調這是有些媒體故意誤導。
以下為川普在Truth Social發文全文：「沒有任何國家能夠因為不公平的貿易逆差和非關稅壁壘就『脫罪』，尤其是中國，它對我們的待遇是最惡劣的！上週五並沒有宣布任何關稅『例外』。這些商品仍將適用現行的20%芬太尼關稅，只是被歸類到不同的關稅『項目』中而已。假新聞媒體知道這一點，但拒絕報導。
我們正在針對半導體及整個電子供應鏈進行即將展開的國家安全關稅調查。這次揭露讓我們看清，我們必須在美國本土生產產品，而且我們不會再被其他國家——特別是像中國這種敵意滿滿的貿易國——挾持。我們也不能再讓他們像過去數十年那樣在貿易上持續欺負我們，那些日子已經結束了！
美國的黃金時代即將來臨，包括即將實施的減稅與放寬法規措施，其中許多已經獲得眾議院與參議院批准。這將帶來更多、更高薪的工作，讓產品回到我們國家製造，並且在對待其他國家（尤其是中國）時，採取與他們對待我們相同的態度。最終目標是，我們的國家將比以往任何時候都更加強大、更加出色。我們將讓美國再次偉大！」
原文：「NOBODY is getting “off the hook” for the unfair Trade Balances, and Non Monetary Tariff Barriers, that other Countries have used against us, especially not China which, by far, treats us the worst! There was no Tariff “exception” announced on Friday. These products are subject to the existing 20% Fentanyl Tariffs, and they are just moving to a different Tariff “bucket.” The Fake News knows this, but refuses to report it. We are taking a look at Semiconductors and the WHOLE ELECTRONICS SUPPLY CHAIN in the upcoming National Security Tariff Investigations.
What has been exposed is that we need to make products in the United States, and that we will not be held hostage by other Countries, especially hostile trading Nations like China, which will do everything within its power to disrespect the American People. We also cannot let them continue to abuse us on Trade, like they have for decades, THOSE DAYS ARE OVER! The Golden Age of America, which includes the upcoming Tax and Regulation Cuts, a substantial amount of which was just approved by the House and Senate, will mean more and better paying Jobs, making products in our Nation, and treating other Countries, in particular China, the same way they have treated us. The bottom line is that our Country will be bigger, better, and stronger than ever before. We will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!」
